Ever wonder how things just magically appear when you walk into church?
Do you ask yourself how Communion gets set-up and who is the magical fairy that makes it appear the first Sunday of the month?
How about the Livestreaming, that you have the luxury of watching from home on those days you want to sleep in?
Do you enjoy listening to the Contemporary Service? Ever wonder when those Praise Band members take a break?
We need your help!
We are looking for new faces, personalities and talents to volunteer.
There is no magical fairy that makes the church run…we are supported by volunteers .
Communion Help Wanted
The Worship Committee is seeking one or two individuals to manage the communion elements for the 9 am service on the first Sunday of each month. This person would place the provided elements on the altar at least 15 minutes prior to the service and clean them up after the service. Written instructions and training will be provided! Please contact Sue Wallace, sawallace54@gmail.com or 404-661-0648, if you are interested.
Slideshow Helper Needed
This is only for the 9 am service. Just need to be able to push a couple of buttons and pay attention to the service.
Sanctuary Volunteers Needed
There are a few open spots for new volunteers on St. Andrew's sanctuary team. Team members spend about an hour each week during their chosen month(s) preparing the sanctuary for Sunday's worship service. Time & day of week are flexible as long as the visit is made during church office hours. To volunteer, or for more information, please contact
Sue Wallace, sawallace54@gmail.com, 404-661-0648.
Two or More Praise Team
Is God nudging you toward more Christian service? Do you have the talent of singing and or playing a musical instrument?
The Two or More Praise Team is seeking volunteers for our group. If you have a heart for worship and leading worship in a spirit-filled setting, we would like to speak with you. We currently are in need of guitarists (both lead and acoustic), vocalists (male and female), and keyboardists. Experience singing and/or playing in a worship band or musical group is preferred, but not required. We practice on Tuesday nights at 7:00 and meet prior to the 9:00 service at 8:00 every Sunday with the exception of a few Sundays during the year.
Livestreaming Volunteer Needed
Auditory/Visual Tech help is needed. Only needed to be available once or twice a month. Either service is available. No headphones, no holding a camera, just sitting in the service taking it all in and adjusting the camera via laptop a few times during the service. You are able to participate like everyone else. Training is available.
Soundboard Tech Needed
Can you run a soundboard? Have ever wanted to learn? Some experience would be helpful, but not necessary. 11 am service once or twice a month, occasionally a church event or in the 9 am service.
We can train you or maybe you can train us.
